How Circuit Security use GrazeAI to book 2x more qualified meetings at events

Challenge

Circuit relied on incomplete and unreliable event data, manual research, and poor enrichment to identify a small number of relevant buyers across large conferences, making prospecting slow and difficult to scale.

Solution

Use GrazeAI to connect fragmented event signals, identify and prioritize attendees against Circuit’s ICP, surface net-new buyers and side-event opportunities, and support outreach before and after each event.

Results
  • Over 200% more qualified event meetings
  • A repeatable conference prospecting process that surfaces relevant buyers before the team arrives
  • Higher event ROI through better event selection, targeted side-event sponsorships, and more relevant RSVPs
  • Earlier outreach and post-event follow-up that turns missed on-site conversations into additional meetings

Circuit’s Story

Circuit’s buyers span security, custody, digital assets, infrastructure, operations, and risk; a handful of the right relationships matter far more than thousands of generic leads.

Circuit Security is building recovery and risk infrastructure for institutional digital assets. Its team has built and operated infrastructure at JPMorgan, Morgan Stanley, Coincover, Komainu, Fireblocks, and LMAX, giving it deep experience in the systems, operational risks, and institutional requirements behind digital assets.

Conferences are a critical part of Circuit’s sales strategy, but the raw data makes prospecting painful. A major event can bring tens of thousands of people into one place while only a small fraction match Circuit’s ideal customer profile.

From Incomplete, Messy Event Data to a Targeted List

Before GrazeAI, Circuit often had to start without a reliable attendee list at all. When information was available, it was frequently incomplete or wrong, so the team sometimes had to search for attendees on social media manually, take screenshots from event apps, copy names into spreadsheets, and investigate each person separately.

Circuit used GrazeAI to piece those fragments together. Names from apps, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, side events, hiring activity, company records, and historical sources all added context to the same person or organization. A generic operations title might look irrelevant in isolation, for example, but a deleted job posting could show that the person actually owned custody or security infrastructure.

Those records were rarely clean. An attendee might enter a one-letter surname, call themselves simply “VP,” or use a generic company name. Traditional enrichment tools often turned those gaps into confident but incorrect matches, and Circuit saw similar problems with other event-data products. In some cases, the team contacted people who said they had never heard of the event they were supposedly attending.

Getting the targeting right still took some upfront work. Circuit and GrazeAI refined the Ideal Customer Profile until the prospect lists consistently reflected the buyers and partners Circuit actually wanted to meet. Once the criteria were dialed in, the team spent far less time filtering out weak matches.

“GrazeAI helps us easily identify conference attendees and organize our outreach based on ICP. It easily pays for itself with one deal."

Finding the Right Buyers and the Right Events

GrazeAI surfaced net-new buyers and partners outside Circuit’s CRM and normal LinkedIn research, while also giving the team a clearer view of where those people were gathering.

That mattered beyond the main conference. Senior prospects often spent much of event week at private dinners, partner gatherings, and smaller side events, so Circuit used GrazeAI to decide which events to sponsor and which invite-only gatherings were worth filling. The same targeting helped improve RSVPs by focusing invitations on the accounts and decision-makers Circuit actually wanted in the room.

For priority accounts, Circuit could track where the same decision-makers appeared across multiple conferences and start outreach earlier, building on existing relationships instead of treating every event as a fresh prospecting exercise.

The workflow continued after the event; when Circuit missed a relevant person during a busy conference week, sales still had the research and context needed to follow up afterward and book a meeting rather than losing the opportunity once everyone flew home.

More Qualified Meetings and Higher Event ROI

Circuit increased qualified event meetings by over 200%. By the time the team arrived, reps already had meetings booked, a clear shortlist of the people worth finding, and a view of which accounts deserved executive attention. That reduced time spent figuring out the room on-site and made the event itself more focused.

Pre-event outreach also improved awareness. Some prospects arrived already familiar with Circuit because they had seen outreach before the event, which made interactions warmer even when the prospect had not replied beforehand.

“GrazeAI helps us easily identify conference attendees and organize our outreach based on ICP.”, said Aaron Winkler, Business Development Manager, “It easily pays for itself with one deal."

That outcome changed the economics of the channel. Circuit increased its event investment and sponsored more side events where the data showed a high concentration of relevant buyers. The team could also compare events against qualified meetings, pipeline, and revenue, improving ROI by putting budget behind the events that produced customers rather than low-fit sponsorships or generic swag.

GrazeAI doesn’t replace Circuit’s judgment about who to meet; it helps the team book more meetings and turn conference prospecting into a repeatable, scalable process.
